Dr. Waibel was born and raised in Russia, where, from the age of six, she competed in local and international English-language competitions, receiving multiple first-place awards and recognitions, sparking her desire to one day live in an English-speaking country. As she was growing up, she had to wear a retainer to correct an overbite. When her dentist handed her a mirror at the end of her treatment, she was overwhelmed with emotion, and from that moment on, she knew that she wanted to give that same feeling to others.
Dr. Waibel got her opportunity to realize her dream and move to the United States at the age of 20, while working on a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality. Wasting no time at all, she was enrolled at Temple University on her journey to a career in dentistry within three months of her arrival to Philadelphia. Dr. Waibel’s passion for dentistry and dedicated work ethic allowed her to flourish and graduate a year early while more than doubling the graduation requirements. To this day, she continues her education, learning from some of the most renowned and innovative names in dentistry to ensure her patients always receive the most advanced and effective treatment possible.
When Dr. Waibel isn’t practicing dentistry, she is spending time with her two children, Mark and Leo. A self-proclaimed foodie, she loves cooking and trying new restaurants, then hitting a game of tennis or paddleball.
Originally from Bucks County, she has always called Pennsylvania her home. Allie completed a dental assisting program at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology and shortly after received her radiology license. Working in a dental field for almost a decade as a dental assistant she decided to take on a challenge at Nova Cosmetic Dentistry and become a Front Office Coordinator. That gives her an opportunity to communicate even more with the patients, build strong relationships with our local families and learn a whole new side of a dental practice. Allie loves the hard work and passion that’s involved in her profession, as well as the people she works with. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, their new puppy Oliver and her large family, going to the beach and snowboarding.
Candace has been in the dental field for over 12 years. Before heading to Manor College in 2010 to become a dental hygienist, she was a dental assistant for a periodontist. She is native to Philadelphia, and currently resides in Glenside. You will find her enjoying her spare time up the mountains with her family. She is a blessed boy mom of two and a LEO wife to an amazing guy. She loves to spend time with her family, explore the outdoors, listen to country music, watch HGTV, and try new restaurants in the area. She is very passionate about delivering the best possible care, meeting patients dental needs, and building a rapport. She looks forward to taking exceptional care her patients, striving to comfort them with her gentle touch and thorough dental cleanings.
